Breakfasts are served in the bright and airy dining room at the front of the house. We aim to make breakfast a dining experience for all guests and like to provide a relaxed atmosphere and tables dressed with high quality cutlery, contemporary white china and a beautiful view of our rose garden.
Meadowcroft prides itself on excellent quality locally produced food, be it the fresh fruit salads, the eggs from meadowcroft hens, or the award winning local sausage, locally produced bacon and Doreen Haigh's black pudding. Options such as smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or smoked haddock and poached eggs are always available with prior notice. Homemade vegan, vegetarian and special-diet options are also available with advanced notice.
Breads and toast at Meadowcroft are home made using locally-milled flour and the fruit-laden preserves are made by Sue using raspberries, plums and strawberries from the Meadowcroft gardens.
